Your Support

We have a Registered Service Manager and Support Staff who are familiar with the care planning processes for all looked after children and care leavers within our supported accommodation provision. Ready Homes Support Worker staff will support young people in gaining and maintaining independent living skills.

We support young people to express their views, wishes, feelings, and expectations for their future. Ready Homes recognise that the young people in our supported accommodation are older children and may have with a high-level of independence and responsibility and will endeavour to adapt our style of support accordingly to each young person housed within our provision.

We work in partnership with all relevant social work teams and advocates, to ensure that each young person is provided with support and understanding to communicate their views, wishes and feelings and participate as fully as possible in all aspects of the service and their support package.

To ensure this is effective, we recognise that our styles may need to be adapted, this may include the use of and support to use communication aids, equipment and/or any necessary language support.

In our statement of purpose, we outline the arrangements for the support service we provide and the degree of staff involvement so that young people and local authorities know what they can expect.
