Charities

NSPCC

The NSPCC (The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) are the UK's leading children’s charity. They have been looking out for children for over 140 years. We help children who’ve been abused, protect children at risk, and find the best ways to prevent child abuse from ever happening.

Their services are a vital part of keeping children safe. Across the UK and Channel Islands, they work directly with children and families in their national and regional hubs. They also give support to thousands of children and young people who need them through Childline. And the Helpline is there for any adult who is concerned about a child.

18 or under? Childline offers free, confidential advice and support whatever your worry, whenever you need help.

Barnardo’s

For over 150 years, Barnardo’s has been there for children and young people who need them most – bringing love, care and hope into their lives and giving them a place where they feel they belong. They are here because too many children and young people across the UK are missing out on a good childhood, and on the opportunity to thrive when they become adults.

They’ll continue to be here for as long as They’re needed – working with children and young people to be safe, happy, healthy and hopeful.
